African Beauty in Chinese Dress: 非洲美女(中国风)
African beauty dressed in Chinese- inspired dress blended with traditional African, namely West African inspired gold makeup.
Opulence: The Ashanti tribe of Ghana are known for their extraordinary wealth, and much of its nobles and royalty- both men as well as women are frequently decked with gold jewelry. Frequently Ashanti beauty would wear fine dustings of gold in their makeup.
The Ashanti were also known for the brilliance of their clothing. The distinctive Kente cloth- which were spun with brilliant and gaudy silk and worn in a toga like fashion.
