To each his (or her) view I guess, but I have to say, as armors goes, just like how distinctive Japanese armors are, I believe the Song armor displayed the Chinese armor in the most elaborate iteration of their designs. Does it look like it came out of some kind of Asian mythology I will admit so, but they sure are elaborate.
